For this short 2 week collaborative project, between students in Interaction Design and Project Design, we were asked to identify potential problems throughout the city of Glasgow. Using skills in research, rapid prototyping, team working and presentation we were tasked with creating and communicating an innovative solution to a selected problem.
My group focused on the Next Bike bike sharing scheme identifying this system as being primarily used by residents of Glasgow. Through redesigning and developing the existing Next Bike mobile application, along with adding a new interface to the bike itself, we created a solution which we hoped would encourage tourists to use the scheme, explore and visit the sights of Glasgow and use local businesses across the city.
Mobile application prototype developed in Adobe Experience Design and information video created using After Effects and Premiere Pro.
